Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex for the duration of three of the last four seasons. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country music artist. She joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she continued to appear until the finale in 2012, about halfway into. The actress was a signer of an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up during a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. The track later appeared in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The track was a part of in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She focused on her musical career, but she also continued acting she acted in movies which enticed her fans, like Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and an duet with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it was even more successful, achieving number 3 on the national album chart as well as number ten in the Billboard 200. Her two-month appearance on the Dancing with the Stars 23rd edition ended with her finishing fourth. The same year, Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser became an enormous adult contemporary success.
