HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek asked his close associate to record an HGTV audition film in 2011 featuring the duo of him along with Christina flipping over a home. Pie Town Productions, a production firm in New York City, was the first to receive the tape. They were enthralled by Tarek's and Christina's love story. The deal was signed by the couple with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April 2013. Between 2013 until 2017, the show ran 92 episodes in seven seasons. Christina and Tarek were the two characters on the show, were able to purchase houses, usually moderate-income houses situated in Orange County. Tarek is in charge of demolition, renovations and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
