Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's programs 'Squawk On the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. She's an Ohio native, but was not at all interested in markets or currencies when she was in college. She worked as an intern at ForexTV.com while she was studying at New York University. This was where she gained the first glimpse of business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. The course was four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. Then, she became a anchor for a TV show. CNBC employed her in December 2013 as an anchor. Prior to her appointment at "Closing Bell the show, she was co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen co-anchors 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. She is among the most respected journalist in business today. Since her arrival at CNBC her main focus has been on the global news for consumers.
